Essential. GEM.

Reimagining Smartphone: GEM

Most smartphones demand attention. GEM was designed to disappear into life, surfacing what you need before you ask and collapsing the chaos of apps into a single intelligent view. AI-driven context. Effortless navigation. A device that thinks in flow, not interruption.

How I shaped it

Defined the product vision and design system from zero, setting the creative direction that gave GEM its distinct identity.

Led the brand and interaction language, ensuring every visual and motion decision expressed the same idea: intelligence that feels effortless, not clinical.

Built and directed a cross-functional UX team of designers, researchers, and engineers, balancing executive leadership with hands-on creative direction at every stage.

Shaped the go-to-market experience, translating the product's core promise into a launch story audiences could feel, not just understand.
